Prior to the 2022-2023 competition year, Derrick also took 3088T Lotus, to compete in the VEX IQ Pitching In tournament year during 2021-2022, where Lotus was officially recognized at both the local and state tournament level. They received the Design Award and placed 7th at the local level, and received the Judges Award at the state level while placing 7th as well.
